Default Coastal Wattle, and Banksia trees, etc.

Here at Port Vincent I have scored a coastal Wattle, ( dead ), and a large broken branch from a living Banksia, along with some decent size dead Peach, Lemon, Orange, & Fig tree, etc, branches ,- supposed to be bound for my combustion heater, therefore am wondering IF this type of timber has any other uses apart from firewood ??.

If this is not the best location for this question,- please inform me where it should go.

    Roger

I would not think the fig would have much value because of the heavy sap.
The others would depend on the size . I think all could be useful for turning or boxes if the size was suitable .
Are you palnning to use it yourself .
    Cheers

I think most wood from fruit/nut trees are quite useable, certainly apple, macadamia, walnut and mango up this way, so lemon and orange should be good, size (of branch)might determine how usable, (sapwood) maybe best for small turnings....if not it would give the smoke from the fire an interesting smell
