So are you wearing the Burmudas and sandles to the gtg Nick?

Should have some more pics of the crazy bench today, still no glass. Should be very close to finished today and looking at install Wed or Thursday.

The end is nigh, counter top is done, just have to fix it down and put a final coat of finish on it.
Put the glass in (yes finaly arrived) this afternoon. So tomorrow is just tidying up and pack it in the Jeep and trailer ready for an early start to Annandale.
The finish is one coat of Stain and Varnish Chocolate and then a coat of Stain and Varnish Baltic Pine. This gives the effect of looking old and being
done up or repaired over the years. Bit of a gooy sticky look.

    Smicko. What's next?

(it's got me hungry for an apple turnover, long john or a bee sting just thinking of what will go in there)
I make things, I just take a long time.

Hi Waldo, I have a recycled timber table to make and then it might be back to the coffee shop for a revolving door, bookshelf / fireplace (just faux ones), the fun continues. I also have a pizza paddle to make before I go to Annandale.

Bee sting or a nice Paris Breast more calouries

If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."

    recycled timber ... sob

There's a reno going on across the road

I asked for any hardwood or maybe any oregon that might be turfed
The house is about 90 yo

There's a skip out the front this mornin
yep everything chopped down to 5' lengths
I was after 8' or so lengths for a planned bench top 2x4 or even 3x4 hardwood

yep had both and gees it looked pretty good - aged spotty gum - I got some but it's not what I really wanted for a bench top, a bit short

lesson learnt - talk with foreman not the worker 'cause he doesn't give a rats
