The house is about 90 yo

There's a skip out the front this mornin
yep everything chopped down to 5' lengths
I was after 8' or so lengths for a planned bench top 2x4 or even 3x4 hardwood

yep had both and gees it looked pretty good - aged spotty gum - I got some but it's not what I really wanted for a bench top, a bit short

lesson learnt - talk with foreman not the worker 'cause he doesn't give a rats
Gee's some want it handed to them on a silver plater.

5ft lengths would do me fine soon have them back together to make 8ft if I needed it little hard yakka and done eh Claw

Mark love the work done as for the way it goes together I guess it has to suit the layout. I'd hate to be working in behind that all day bending down to get stuff out. OH&S its not

    Looks great CH.
How do you apply the finish. I see a garden spray ion the background of the last 2 pics. You don't use that do you .

Hey guys, Ray if the people behind the counter were built like us yes the space behind might be a problem but these guys and girls are maybe 50kgs ringing wet. They won't have any trouble.

Pete the finish is just slapped on with a 50mm brush complete with runs, thick spots, skimpy bits etc. Once its finished I'm actually going to rub it through in a few places back to the wood and then wax it. Has to look old and grungy.

Nick, if you snooz you looz. You have to get in quick to get the spoils.

Christos, you're just out of control mate

Now there is a concern 50kgs working in a cake shop. What comes to mine is that their product is so good that by the end of the day nothing is left.
