    Default console table

Today I finished a console table made from black tea tree I milled and stored about 5 years ago. The hardest timber I've ever used and the hardest to work, but the most beautiful timber I've ever used.

    Thumbs up

    Beuatiful piece!!

Nice simple lines offset by the subtle colouring and grain of the timber.

Beautiful top, what have you finished it with, it has come up a treat?

It's finished with FW Scandinavian oil. About 5 coats I reckon. Wood was finished to 400 and the finish to 800 or 1200 'scouring pad' on the second to last coat.

    Beautiful little table.

Finish looks spot on and it highlights the grain nicely.

    Very nice.
