Constructive criticism is always welcome Ian .......... just don’t open any delivered parcels for a while though ?

Apparently the cordless microphone set up is very sensitive and “booms” if anything knocks the base on which it stands. They were also worried about the “clatter” of glasses of water being put down on the table-top so I went with leather partly for that reason. Veneer though would still have been better than the tempered glass of the old one!

I'm relying on your age & sundry distractions to have erased all memory of my address after (however many years it's been) when you visited. But I will get my sniffer dog to check all incoming mail henceforth. That may not help much, the only odours she responds to are those related to food.....

OK, valid point about the over-sensitive mic. One should always be in possession of full facts before casting nastursulums.

Seems like they need a visit from a competent sound engineer.......

    Cheers,
    IW

This is a seriously good thread - AND a seriously EXCELLENT outcome.

The lectern looks great. It fits the vibe, fits the existing style beautifully.

Not so sure about the Jesus in the background. Needs to be turned 30-45°.... and why does it have a portico???

I reckon it’s actually the entrance to a secret passageway and he’s the bouncer?

Easy, Fletty, I could be wrong but I think there may be a Forum rule about discussing theology.

Ooo yes GC, I fear you might be correct! It reminds me of another rule but there’s no need for me to use theography because I don’t have a theograph to play it on?
