Constructive criticism is always welcome Ian .......... just donít open any delivered parcels for a while though ?
Apparently the cordless microphone set up is very sensitive and ďboomsĒ if anything knocks the base on which it stands. They were also worried about the ďclatterĒ of glasses of water being put down on the table-top so I went with leather partly for that reason. Veneer though would still have been better than the tempered glass of the old one!a rock is an obsolete tool ......... until you donít have a hammer!

OK, valid point about the over-sensitive mic. One should always be in possession of full facts before casting nastursulums.
Seems like they need a visit from a competent sound engineer.......

This is a seriously good thread - AND a seriously EXCELLENT outcome.
The lectern looks great. It fits the vibe, fits the existing style beautifully.
Not so sure about the Jesus in the background. Needs to be turned 30-45į.... and why does it have a portico???
