Thread: latest creation Mark II

This is my new latest piece.It is in a similar vane to my clock for those that have seen it.
A combinatoin of wood and slavaged metal components.

For some reason I felt compelled to make a lectern,not the most useful item in the world but I like the way it turned out.
It is jarrah,Tasmanian blue gum and stainless steel.
The top can be adjusted from any angle from nearly vertical to horizontal (can be used as a table in this position)
I also got to parctice some lathework too!
