Custom loft bed w/ built in wardrobe, mirror bi-fold doors, & draw stairs...Help?
(Not sure if this the right place to post this)
Hi everyone!~
I live in South Australia, & I have designed a custom loft bed with a built in wardrobe, mirror bi-fold doors, & draw stairs....the problem is I can't find anyone to build it for an affordable price. The average price I've been quoted for so far is around $5500, which is just way too much for me.
Do you guys know anyone that could help me out with this? It would be a great (paid)project for someone with some free time on their hands & knows what he/she is doing.
I have used photoshop to design exactly what I want & how it should look...so here is picture of the bed -
All I want behind the bi-fold doors is just a hanging rod for clothes & maybe just one long shelf right above the hanging rod.
The dimensions would probably be something like -
1840mm(H) X 1120mm(W) X 2600mm(L). <---(not completely sure, I think the mattress I want to put in/on the bed is just a standard single mattress).
I look forward to hearing from everyone & appreciate any help you guys can give me.
Lisa.

Id love to build it for you lisa unfortunatey im in QLD, the priciest component on this job would be the mirrored doors around $120 a sqm the bifold hardware and per haps the draw hardware just by looking at it would only take around 6-7 8x4 sheets of board(probably mdf) I would try a smaller cabinet making firm as i m sure the could do it a bit cheaper than what you have been quoted
good luck chowcini

This was in a recent Harvey Norman catalogue in NSW, at a cost of $1499. Might be cheaper to buy this, and have the mirror doors added.
