    Default Dartboard Cabinet Finished

I thought I would post some pics of my dartboard cabinet I just finished. Its made from Cedar. Made a few mistakes as usual. In particular the doors could be closer together. The backing is plywood with 4 cork tiles glued. The dartboard is held by 4 screws through the backing.
The doors are of 2 pieces biscuited together, the curve edge drawn using a compass, and a handheld router and a template made the simple decorative goove.
I overdid the marking of the hinge mortises.
Cedar has a lovely aroma, but is soft and dents/marks easily.
I made 2 of these in fact and gave one to my brother-in-law. Sorry if the Union flags on the dart fins upset anyone.

The only thing that would upset me was if I missed the board and fired one into the cabinet , nice work!!

    Nice cabinet mate!

The dartboard is held by 4 screws through the backing
I hope you used the supplied bracket and with one screw in the board so the board can still be rotated to allow for wear?

I know it is your choice but, normally the 20 is red and black.

Well spotted re 20 . I have moved the dartboard around a no. of times before the cabinet was made. It should be okay to relocate the board using the same drill holes in the backing board I would have thought.

Do not be concern about the people missing the dart board. Thats what is there for to not damaged the wall.

Thanks for the replies. The brick wall around the dartboard was becoming very pitted. Hence one of the reasons for the cabinet.
