For Bundegai, its either Mullumbimby Woodworks or Mullumbimby Slab Factory
    Hi Cruzi,

Thanks for replying to my query regarding the camphor wood table. When you say, "go the wipe on 'poly'; what exactly do you mean by poly? Luckily I haven't damaged the table with oil yet. I think the maker was Mullumbimby Woodworks (so thanks again), but they no longer have a website; so I might have to either ring or wait till next year's woodshow.

    Cheers.

Bundegi: Not sure what Stan used to finish his tables, not even sure if he is still in the wood business, will make some enquiries to find out. I know he re-named to Billynudgel Woodworks, but that's about it.
Its best to know what he did use before you re-finish so can't really help you.

im finished my furniture/cabinet making apprenticeship in 1 month and my main thing has been the dining tables....would have LOVED to have made something using slabs....we have a heap of slabs all racked out at work but i wont stick around long enough to have anything to do with them unfortunately :P...

    Hey Peter,
Just wondering how you are going with the table and if you got any updates?

    Default Pictures Finally - Sorry

Sorry for the length of time its taken me to respond Unfortunately its a juggling act between work, wife, a 2yo and everything else!

I caught up with EdWood on Monday just gone when I picked up some Marri as I'm building a 2200x1200 table for a very close friend (read: a love job)

Anyways... here are some pics.. I think the tone is slightly orange but I dont hav the originals with me to adjust..

Beautiful Peter, just exquisite!! Well worth the wait!. I love the inscribed quote too My favourite bit about the table would have to be curve of the top which I think is enchanced by the straight lines of the legs

    cheers

Well you can do it with two people.. It's moer a case that the size makes it a cumbersome rather than super heavy (at least over short distances anyway). Saying that the top comes away from the base so I'd suggest 4 people if it was joined
