Will only guarantee for lounge room surfing and maybe highway surfing as long as you don`t take it of the roof racks , not willing to risk it in a ceremonious sinking , have been thinking of hollowing out the base and filling with high flotation foam ? maybe next one!

Love your work Dusteater, very artistic.
What did you use to get the turquoise color in the base?

Thanks for all the pos feedback fellas,to answer your ? Ian I used the West System (brand name ) of epoxy resin and mixed a small amount of water based paint, it seemed to cure faster than normal but remained stable" I love experimenting " . All the remaining colours are inlays using recycled plastics eg. buckets, plantpots, knitting needles, yoghurt lids and metals such as aluminium ,copper and brass . I`ve also made a nest of tables using the same method .

Thanks for that Dusteater, I have the West System epoxy so I will defo give the water paint color a try soon.
Your nest of tables are great but I am absolutely stunned by the surf board in comparison.
Keep experimenting, Cheers, Ian"The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.. it can't be done.
