Default Finally made a dedicated work bench and also this also arrived...

Finally made a dedicated bench that houses my Festool boxes.

also my 55 gallon/204lites/235kg of Titebond glue arrived yesterday, the grey bucket is 20kg, I use to buy them in 20kg buckets but now situation has changed.

Looks good. I made something similar a few years ago and it’s a game changer!

On another note, how do you find the vac sys? I got one last year with the 3 extra heads and absolutely love it. Couldn’t imagine working without one now.

Love the VAC SYS, changed its filter recently. dont buy the Festool filter replacement package, its like $50 (unless you really love Festool and wants parcels from them), you can get the filter from local supplier for like $10-$15, its a Mann Filter WK42/2 -some may say this is very un-Festool lol, I am putting this here so I can look back to see what filter I needed.

the vac sys has its limitations, can't take anything thats too small, I only have 1 head now, another head is yet to be connected - dont think I will ever need it. the suction pads are expensive though, each rubber pad for $150?!

I am going to modify the pedal so it can become knee operated rather than foot operated.
