Actually, i've read that Pugin was blamed for flat-pack furniture. Surely, there was campaign stuff before he came of design-age?
Flat-pack furniture was definitely around long before Pugin.

    Thumbs up

I actually thought everything was set for a game of pick-up-sticks, or fiddlesicks if you prefer.

Would that be lower than a snakes belly?

You mentioned at the beginning of the thread that the timber to be used was mahogany which I thought was brownish. Have you bleached your components prior to glueing?

I'll see your brownish Mahogany and raise you a pinkish Mahogany.

Mahogany varies widely in colour from off-white to deep red, but also oxidizes rapidly to a darker colour. You can see a few darker patches on the table components above which represent my workings of a few days prior.

If I left the table for a few days after assembly and final clean-up, it would all turn a brown colour.
