Default High Heat Paint for wood

We have to replace a dead wall oven and the new ovens are smaller. We have a timber trim to fill the gap left around the new oven. Would like to make it gloss black to blend with the new oven. Question is what paint can take the heat from the oven when opening and closing the door. Would a high heat car engine paint be suitable. Only a small frame so a spray can should cover the whole job. Timber is current bare.

We have just white plastic house paint around ours and it over has a pyrolytic cleaning function meaning it briefly gets to over 500ºC during teh cleaning cycle - been there for about 6 years - no probs.

We have Killrust enamel around our oven and around. No problems after 8 years.

Ovens are insulated and the high heat is inside the oven, not around it.

Although Killrust is marketed as a metal paint I like it on wood because of its very high gloss, self levelling characteristics and longevity.
