Default Jarrah TV Cabinet w/TV Lift

This cabinet was finished about a month or so ago for our personal pleasure. Made using solid Jarrah, with veneer infill panels, it measures 2400 W x1020 H x 520 D. It's designed with a remote control TV Lift capable of holding a 65" TV. It currently holds a 50" TV. You can view a video of the lift mechanism here. Click on the images below for the full size pics.

Looks great, I like the style! What kind of lift mechanism did you use?

Thanks Ilya. The lift is a 36" Stroke Firgelli model, available here.

Thanks - now I see how the TV is mounted, I thought that you had to invent something there.
(and that is quite pricey for such a simple mechanism!!!)

In reference to price, it's all relative. I could have purchased a standard solid timber TV cabinet for $2,000, that's without a TV lift mind you, but then, that's exactly what I'd have; a standard TV cabinet. I spent less than that between the materials and the TV lift, which has resulted in the one-off piece we have here today

Now, compared to other products, it's actually quite economically priced. It's a strudy and heavy unit, being made out of steel. It has load rating of 60 kg, so it's quite strong. I'd recommend it to anyone looking at this sort of thing.
