Default My second lockdown project - Jarrah display unit

Last week, I finished this display unit from Jarrah boards that I got from Highland just before last Christmas. It is finished with three coats of my version of Crowie's Wipe on Poly which has produced a nice lustre. It is 2000mm high and 1100mm wide to fit in the alcove to house the teddy bear collection. I was going to build it anyway but I reckon the lockdown hurried it along.

There's a bear in there! Good use of the space.

Very nice arrangement of the bears, I assume they're yours, or perhaps you're trying to curry favour with another member of the household? Oh, and the shelves look alright too.

Thanks for the likes and comments.

The bears belong to SWMBO but I did not have to curry any favours. I would have bought some of the bears over the years. They had been living in an old cheap veneer covered chipboard unit and I figured they deserved better.

Great use of your lockdown time, brownie point too, well done.
    Cheers, crowie

PS - The home-made Wipe-On-Poly was given to me by a master woodturner mate so I can't take the credit for it, but it is good!
