Pick your clothes up
[COLOR=var(--primary-text)]Here are some pictures of my latest project, a clothes valet .
The inspiration is a similar valet by Fratelli Reguitti but mine is more voluptuous[/COLOR]
[COLOR=var(--primary-text)]The wood is recycled Queensland maple Flindersia brayleyana, from church pews rescued from a local church that was renovating. Despite the colour differences, the pieces all came from the same board!
The finish is hard shellac which I will wax once the shellac has stopped cross-polymerising and is properly hard.

Those curves give it a bit of an Art Nouveau feel, very nice indeed.
