How does the b/case attach to the cabinet/whatyercallit?
I spy a makers mark there. A bit more finesse than a can of spray paint.

Hi Waldo, bad when you miss stuff on your own thread
The bottom thingy is connected to the top whatyercallit with little tubular wood gismos and yellow sticky stuff I am using 9.5mm holes with 10mm dowels, very snug, just wind them to gether with the clamps.
Makers Marks tags, yes veeeeerrryyyyy prOfessional, I have ordered more from the elusive Vidi, I get about 20 a year. Vidis are the best and cheap if you can handle his lack of communication. He has acknowledged my order so I thought I would just wait and then one day when I don't expect them they will just appear from the little red motor bike. I just hope I ordered early enough, Vidi has a handicap of 4 -5 tags, so when I get down to 5 tags I call him. I will have to see if he has improved his game

Thanks Christos, haven't posted much lately, just working on the fourth unit which is similar to the third unit only it will not have a drawer. There is also a 2.3m x 500 bench which I will do last.
I'm struggling with the last unit, I hate making anything that is even vaguely the same so 4 units all the same (almost) is a struggle for me. If I had my way all tables would have 4 different legs.
Still waiting for more makers marks and waiting for the samples of coping saw blades.

I have been away and did not have internet access for a little time so this reply is going to be a little late but none the less I think that the advise is well worth it.
What if you started from the other end and work your back.
I think that by now you would have already completed the work in progress. So if you do start from the other end then you might be undoing the work in progress.

Ah Christos, you're a scarie man. I delivered the last unit yesterday, I just have a small bench to make and put on some wall brackets and its over. I will post some more pics of the completed unit then. I have taken delivery from our old mate Mal of a heap of Red Ironbark ready for the next project a Lutyens bench seat for a family in Greenwich in Sydney. I will kick a new thread off early next week if all goes well.
I have also been busy building a chook shed in the back yard, I am now the proud owner of 4 little feathered friends to compliment my vegie garden.
And where have you been Christos??
