New Sheoak Hall Table
Hi Guys,
Have been meaning to post here for some time but finally got around to doing so.
Just finished a new Hall table, it`s one of the smaller items we have made but it`s one of my favourite pieces.
Very simple Nakashima inspired design that seemed to fit this particular piece of sheoak nicely.
Going to incorporate a wine rack and wine glass holder into the next one, and probably inlay the makers mark into the shelf instead of the top.
Will post pics when that one is ready.
Thanks for looking,
cheers
Brad

Nice one Brad.
I could look at the grain on sheoak all day. One of those timbers you have to stroke on the way past.
Regards

Interesting piece as the top looks very thick with the slope of the edge.

Hi Christos,
It wasnt an easy piece to photograph as there are a few angles in there.
It`s good to get some feedback/ other opinions.
In person the top doesnt look any thicker at that end but my photography may have given this effect.
Think we ended up with a 32mm thick top with 30mm thick legs and shelf.
