single king size bunks
heading says it all
Stands around 7 foot high and is about 6 1/2 long 4 foot wide
Its made from F7 kiln dried douglas fir 290x45 which I cut down to size thicknessed routed and sanded
ends are joined with 14mm dominos(love my new xl)
rails are conected with Maxilocks
mattress support made from tassie oak set into french hook arrangment
Ladder is some recycled douglas fir from an old verandah used 2 10x80mm dominoes each end
Not sure of best way to affix ladder bugle screws seem crude but I know they wont move think I'll probably use domino again bit more fiddly but will look bestSome people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .

In my experience with bunks, if you have girls they will use the ladder but if you have boys going in these beds they will skip the ladder and climb up into bed like monkeys.
Love them by the way, they look great.
