Nice looking cabinet there Derek. Great detailed read on dovetails by all involved, very enlightening.

Many thanks for the kind words. I was certain everyone was tired of this thread.
After I get finished with built-in bookcases this week, and then it is onto a new bench (my 18 year old is worn out .. and too small).
What I am really looking forward to is building this desk and chair, designed and built by David Haig (in NZ). Just stunning ...
Gad, I hate building bookcases!

So fairly solid then... It is unlikely that anything will compete with Groggy's somewhat epic build, however, as arguably the most useful tool in the arsenal, and considering the infinite and personal variations, tweaks and sometimes inspired elements of design, all workbench WIPS are of interest (and sharing is nice)!
Best for the 2012,
B-D

Sorry it's a late post but had to say how much I've enjoyed this thread and not just for the end result. Take some wood and tools and then stir in the attitudes and beliefs of woodworkers and it makes great entertainment.
Thanks Derek,
Cheers,
Jim
