    Default Long Timber Poles

Hi all - could anyone suggest where I might be able to buy long straight timber poles for exterior use either turned or natural about 12 - 15 meters in length and about 30cm diameter?

Tried Koppers logs but they don't have anything that long at the moment.

    Cheers

How about your local electricity supplier.

Down here where I live they have just replaced a row of very good , long , straight poles with metal street lights and underground power. All the old poles are lying along the back of the footpath waiting to be picked up

Thanks for the info anygivensunday9 - will give them a call - I guess there must be government auctions where power poles are sold off - anyone heard of anything like that ?
