Progress is relative to your needs, I need more progress and less children. I have been ferrying children around lately, looking for jobs, uni, one coming back from Bali on Friday that wants a lift back from Sydney. You love being able to help them and do things for them but it certainly slows the progress

Its not a table its a bl*%dy aircraft carrier. At least my arms think it is, its a big surface to plane. First shot, all clamped up. Second, couldn't wait for the glue to dry, started planing. Three, LV LAJ and the Noris A2 get some exersize. I have had my LAJ for a while now but noticed again today it was a little like my snow skies when the edges are too sharp. Kept catching edges and with the soft Cedar it would leave little creases and bruises. The blade has only been brushed up a few times too so it still had its original very square sharp corners. As with my skies I detuned it a little. Some 600 w&d along the edges of the sole and just around the corners, then put the blade on the stone and took the corners off the blade, just a whisker, a little wax on the sole and shoo, shoo skiing like a, I mean planing like a pro. The Noris doesn't have any sharp edges it's way to civilised.

Todays deeds, got the legs morticed into the top, glued up and got a coat on finish on the underside. Trying to clamp the legs on was a bit of a mission but after a little fiddling they droped into place and the strap seemed the obvious way to add a little pressure. I will have to see how it behaves once I turn it right way up. I may have to add some braces to suport it. Its very long and wide.
I'm almost finished Christos. TH had some clients she wanted to show the picture above to but my email was having some sort of dummy spit so I thought, I just stick on the forum and she can look at there. Bingo worked a treat but by then the clients had left. Oh well you get to see my next project a little sooner.
