Ray,
I was only commissioned to make the table. Seating in the responsibility of the clients wife....
Hopefully the table will be delivered today. I'll get a pic of it's final resting place.
Anyway here is the top with two coats of oil (yet to get the wax on .. wax off)

Hopefully today (very soon but it's not looking good) I can get a coat of wax on it then deliver it to the client. Client just phoned.

Ray,
Got a seat, get plenty of beer and two bottles of port.
The table has been delivered (yesterday) and the client (his SWMBO) is ecstatic.
Sat down at it and had a couple of beers. Needed them as there was only the two of us to carry the top. Bloody heavy.
Anyway here is it's final resting place.

Thankyou for all your comments.
Yesterday the table got a good workout, Kids and teenagers...Survived beautifully.
Only needed a wipe over with warm soapy water and then we gave it another coat of wax.
Client is really happy that's all it takes to look after it.
Table has two coats of Feast Weston's Outdoor Furniture Oil then it's been waxed.
