    Sir Stinky

I really would have liked to have had a good outcome on this, but it was not to be and it hurt a lot. I was p****d : Over it now .

    Default Batteries

I bought a couple of non-genuine Makita batteries from here few weeks ago. Well, they work. They have Panasonic cells in them, and are 3.5 Ah compared to Makita's 3.0 Ah.

    Thanks for that Paul.
If I had been making it I probably would have done the same thing. It is possible I guess that the TB3 may have absorbed moisture from the atmosphere on the inside of the box thus contributing to the early failure because of this but I doubt you could have convinced me this was a possibility beforehand.
