Love it Carl, you have done an almighty job in the design and construction. Some have it, some don’t, you have it
Hate to say it, but I have one minor gripe The main bottom rail extending to what looks like 300-450mm past the end of the top. Recipe for fractured skulls in the middle of the night. It’s something you may need to think about and talk to your client.

Thanks for the feedback folks. The finish is quite simple - Tung Oil. A few coats with the last one wet sanded in.

He's placing a chair at that end to help "prevent" any accidental trips. Whilst not perfect he's aware of the risk.
Cheers,

I didn't see that bottom rail as so much of a trip hazard, but I reckon it's going to look pretty scuffed very quickly. Whoever sits down that end of the table will have their shoes all over that rail. Would it be an idea to treat it a bit differently?
It's great to see furniture designed and made to suit a particular space.

Ah, it's a sock house. That's different. I'm always impressed with the discipline of people who make that rule and stick to it.
