    Default Unusual carved cabinet....

    Howdy all,

I found this online a while back and stumbled across it again today...just thought y'all might like to have a bit of a look at it.

Its carved by machine with a CNC router, and was designed by Ferruccio Laviani in collaboration with a classical reproduction furniture company.

Its from a series of other works called 'Good Vibrations'

Quite cool, but nonetheless....i think the crispness and detail of its carving could have been improved a great deal with a bit of hand carving following 'roughing it out' with the router.

I get the impression that it has been squashed.

I think the idea was to make it look like a computer glitch or a crappy bit in a film reel, but squashed works too
