    Default USA Rock (Hard) Maple veneer ???

    Where can I purchase USA Rock Maple (aka Hard Maple) veneer in Perth, or Oz if needs be?

    Not huge sheets (I assume that would be very expensive to ship across Oz). I need to veneer ply for the panels of frame-and-panel bathroom doors.

    Dunno about in Perth, but Timberwood Panels in Melbourne was our go-to for veneer. If they don't have in stock they will cut for you.

    Anagote Timber in Marrickville NSW sells Rock maple as a solid timber. I got some lovely Birdseye and rippled stock from them. It's relatively cheap - cheaper than local hardwoods would you believe!

    if you buy off their pallets you can rip and create your own plys. Though I dont know why hyou'd do that if you have it in solid form...

    I've attached s pic of a s/s I did for a client wanted a bookshelf. these prices are for clear select furniture grade timbers (dried).

    I bought a flitch of AHM fairly recently from Briggs Veneers in Sydney. They rolled it and posted. No problem.
