    Default First wall unit

OK- this is my first go at building a wall unit, and first attempt at raised panel doors. Carcasses and shelving out of MDF, BB ply (Kauri I think) for the benchtop, and Meranti for the face frames and door rails/stiles.

Paint job could have been better (although took me ages as it was!). I also found the Meranti was a lot more opened grained than I hoped (and remember from last time I used it). I found it hard to stop chip outs and to seal the grain completely.

And before anyone asks- I stopped short of the ceiling on purpose... I chickened out of trying to fit the cornice!
