I last replied that they were indeed from the same piece, but sadly my wife had an acident today and damaged the middle draw. I should have known better than to let her clean my workshop, dam it. She nocked it off the table and a corner broke off the front, so It's back to grind stone and make another one before I run out of maple.

It's been some time now and I just can't let you all wait till it's all done. I'm applying one coat per week at present as I don't get much time now in the workshop but I'm making progress. Here are two pics of some draws I just finished. They have six coats of Shellac, then finished with EEE and then a coat of traditional furniture wax and a buff. The rest is starting to look good also but not finished yet. Enjoy

Looking great . The result justifies the effort you are putting into the finish.
I've just become an optimist . Iv'e made a 25 year plan -oopps I've had a few birthdays - better make that a 20 year plan
