Well here it is at last all finished. Note that I am including the original photo of the real thing from Popular Woodworking mag as a comparison. This has to be one of the most satisfying projects I have done for some time and I may just go down the period furniture road in the future. I will include some pictures in one of my albums. Did you spot the three books?

Very fine work, and very considered stock selection have resulted in a magnificent piece of furniture - not only can you be proud now, but your family can be proud of this as they pass it through the generations. What a legacy piece!
