Large diameter compound dial
After looking at the larger diameter dials on the DGM I finally realised that the compound dial was the 37.5mm size as a later model 9" or 260 cross slide dials, just machined down to look the same as the compound dial. It is easier to read than the standard dial of 31mm OD, the bush is obviously bigger too but I thought that it might be an option to do as an upgrade if you have trouble reading the compound dial. The large dial on the cross slide is also an excellent upgrade from the standard as well. I have added photos of the dials as comparisons.
