That's personally the choice I would make too, but it's not about personal choices, it's about running a viable business. Due to the way assets like machinery can be depreciated, and the taxation implications therein, it may be a smarter way to run a viable business if the cheaper machine can still dot he job. Maybe not the way it should be, just the way it is. Those of us who get to tinker with them for fun and not profit may have a whole different perspective.
