I assume you haven't moved JP4.
You haven't wired up one of the jog circuits?(on my vsd the jog circuits override the speed pot)
Can you adjust the speed on the control panel?
And that's me just about out of guesses

Can you draw a rough circuit of what you have done?
On my vsd once you set the speed control to remote the local one wont work. So I assume we are missing something.
Good luck

Nevermind, I missed this the first time.
"Regardless of the status of P.054, the following conditions must be met in order for the drive to start.
` The terminal strip function loss input must be closed."
Although it is interesting you dont have P.054.

Why do they have to have two manuals!! one for options one for wiring
When you said you could control the speed from the vsd, was this with P.000=rE?
What is the remote LED doing?
Have you tried the Auto/Manual button at all?
Think of the warm feeling you will have when you get it to work lol

Hello Stuart
I started from scratch, reset to defaults and then the motor settings. Bought a new pot and rewired all switches....Still the same as I cannot control the speed from the pot.
In the P.000=rE the run,fwd/rev, jog, start and stop all function.
The remote LED is on and the Auto cannot be activated in the remote mode.
No warm and fuzzy just cold and cranky

Sorry one of my qestions wasn't very clear. When you are running the vsd with P.000=rE, can you adjust the speed with the buttons on the VSD?

Maybe its time to check JP4? http://www.reliance.com/pdf/drives/i...als/D23360.pdf
page 2-15 (or page 25)
Did you get a 5k pot this time?
Is U.0000=0? (it should be, thats the default)
