I will. Lots of differences/improvements over the original Douglas. For example the main gears are cut helical rather than straight, so it might be quieter. Nice to have a gearbox as it's neater and more compact, as well as easier to change speeds. I'd guess it's pretty rare, and the down side of that of course is that spare parts would be less available. Still, it's a relatively simple unit, and I do have machinery to make parts if required, in theory.

wow thats cool!!! my old high schools work shops were fitted out with Hercus machines 3, 260 lathes, a model O mill and a shaper i never ran the mill or shaper but i thought it was smaller almost like a copy of an Atlas did Hercus ever make an Atlas shaper copy?
