I am the Design and Technologies technician at a high school in Perth, and I'm currently refreshing a few Hercus 260's we have in the student metal workshop. Wondering if anyone in Perth has the special tools required to pull the spindle that I can borrow, so I can replace the spindle bearings in one of the machines. There is the spindle puller shaft and nut ( with the handles on each side ) to wind the spindle out ( drawing M4 in the Hercus 260 maintenance manual ), the "U" shaped bar and a couple of spacers ( drawing M5 ), and the spindle take up nut spanner ( drawing M6 ). The main one I need is the shaft and the nut with the handles.

I know they can all be made, but we don't have the gear or the materials to do it right now. It's on my list of things to do in time.

Thanks in advance.
