A Hercus 9" specifications and spare parts manual is advertised in todays Quokka. (West Australia only)
$35? I have no idea if this is good value

I would say that $35 is good value. If original, and in reasonable nick, you are buying a piece of history.
I personally would jump at the chance.

The southbend is available online free and it's virtually the same. Depends on your use. If your a collector buy it, if you want spare parts, well....
