Another Hercus 9, another refurb thread?
My neighbour just picked up a little Sheraton surface grinder,
and the house basement also had this:

Got it for $250. Was in one piece before I took the drive unit off for moving.
The bench weighed more than the whole lathe!
Bed looks good. I'm hoping it is more accurate than my ex high school abused 9C.
Came with all the change gears, a largish Taylor 3jaw chuck, 4jaw, faceplate.
More photos in the light tomorrow, but it looks quite original and undamaged.
The paint still has a Hercus decal on the bed under the headstock.
Might just carefully clean it, to keep the original paint/patina/rust.
