Hercus Identification
A mate has passed on to the great machine shop in the sky and I have the opportunity to buy his 9" Hercus lathe. This is a lathe that he used from new and no one else has ever touched it from my memory. The mystery is there is no identification on the brass plate with a model number but it looks like this one including the original cabinet shown in the linked photo
Hercus 9" Workshop Precision Lathe Model: Arl, 415V Volt -3 Phase - Not Tested [92994+281] (evansclarke.com.au)
From reading the internets it appears that there are various models of Hercus 9" lathes so how do I tell which one it is?
