    Hi
    I would like to add my recently purchased Hercus A model lathe to your register.
    The serial no. Is A9384.
    Don't know the date of manufacture but suspect 1963 aprox.

    According to a list that Tony posted here, yours was made in 1964.

    Default I may have made a mistake with my hercus serial number.

    The serial number I quoted was stamped into the bed. Today I noticed that there is a Model number 6576 stamped into the brass plate installed on the gear box.
