Layshaft Bearing refurbishment
G'day all,
While going over my recently acquired C model lathe I found the source of a noise while the machine was running.
Thankfully the shaft hadn't worn all the way through and the was sufficient material left to allow me to bore the casting out back to round and machine a Bronze bushing to press back in.
Just a small project, but I'm very much a keen beginner and it was my first attempt at turning parts to fit in this manner.
Pretty happy with the result!
