minor diameter
im about to start threading my first chuck back plate for my up and coming hercus 260
i think the thread size is 1 3/4 unc is the minor diameter 1.6147-1.6295 so aim for 1.62

I'm not sure if this helps but I just measured the thread on my 260 catch plate and the minor diamater is dead on 41mm or 1.615".

In case you need the register dimention it is 44.62mm (1.757") diamater and extends 8.4mm (0.33") beyond the last thread which has five turns.Last edited by kwijibo99; 26th May 2010 at 11:07 PM. Reason: More info
