New South Bend book
Just to mention -
I bought a new book on Ebay (item 160414805335 now).
"A Guide to Renovating the 9" South Bend Precision Lathe Model A, B & C Horizontal Drive".
Delivered, it cost under AU$30.
It's also useful for someone who wants a guide to dismantling and reassembling a Hercus 9 inch, and some suggestions for repairs and upgrades. There are few differences between the two makes of 9 inch lathe.
Many photos, all very clear. A bit of it is reprinted from elsewhere, but it's mainly new work.
The ebay ID of the seller is: stevewb

Good information
Just checked this link out and purchased the book. As soon as it gets here I will let you know what I think. From what I could see on EBAY it looks like a very handy reference
