This may be a useful idea to have a look at
Think I downloaded it from the vintage projects page.

Hercus lathes (also South Bend and Boxford) lend themselves to adaptation of home made add-ons, with the easily made spigot mount that can be simply turned up.
I have a ball turning attachment that takes advantage of the design to provide the swivel action.
This looks like a useful one, thanks.
