brock portrait
Gday am new to this forum. have been scrolling for 6 mths and got tired of only finding american portraits on line, decided to give it a go. the portrait measures 17inch x 24inch done in marine ply using 1 and 3 spiral blades. am working on slim dusty and lee kernaghan next. hope you like it

Well done! It's different then the once I found... on american forums... yes do have some Aussie celebrities on there.... got to look hard, but they are there!
One of our club members found one like yours..... and he's sold several of them , but I like yours better... his doesn't have the car

That is great,do you sell the brocky pattern? What thickness is the marine ply?

Don't know about anyone else, but when I make a pattern from a celebrity I don't think I could sell it even if I wanted to..... they aren't mine to begin with... so it's usually done for my own use or to give away... not sure what copy right laws are on that..
Marien ply? I use all sorts of different timber, never used any kind of ply for portraits, simply because the good stuff is too expensive... so I just have Ken thickness any light colour wood I can get my hands on down to anywhere from 6mm to 15mm depending on what I want to do.
