    Default Great Dane

    Made this one for my daughter in laws birthday who just loves Great Danes having 2 of these dogs herself. Hope it passes muster as I am still new at this scrolling,tips & criticism most welcom. Peter.

    Looks good Pete. Nice work.
    Definitely captures the 'Great Dane' look.

    Was it from a commercial pattern, or your own design?
    (More brownie points if it's your own.)

    My one and only criticism is that the cuts could have done with a little sanding to clean them up.

    Edit: I use ice cream sticks or other small curved-profile sticks with W&D paper stuck on with DS tape to get into the trickier bits. Also, miniature needle files are handy for the really tight spots.

    Thanks for the tips Hermit, I will put more effort into the sanding in future,I took the design off a photo of a great dane I found on the internet.Cheers Peter

    I'm not capable of taking a photo and converting it into a black & white pattern like that. Well done.

    And don't be too concerned about my comment on the sanding. It's a very minor point. You have to look pretty closely to see it.
