Delta Model 40-540 Scroll Saw Manual
I'm the new kid on the block....I just joined. I bought a delta Model 40-540 scroll saw the other day for $50.00, I have never used one at all. It did not come with an owners manual,Would anyone know where I can download the manual online? I did do the fix on the blade holder today.

Oh I think I'm gonna cry....... you got it for just $50??????? I'd love to find a second hand one for that.
Need a back up one..... mine's going on 4years old.... absolutely love it.
Had a few problems in the beginning, but with the help of the guys at the club it's a really good workhorse now.
If someone were to make me choose either a new Delta or a Hegner.... I'd take the Delta.... love the quick blade release... one of our friends bought an Excalibur and just now put his delta clamps on it!
Makes one wonder why other manufacturers don't come up with something similar.
Let me see if I remember... first "fix" was taking off the hold down, then adding an aquarium pump - blows much better then the original one, made a bigger turn knob for the quick blade clamp on top, oh and it needed grease. First year I had to replace a couple of springs and that rubber thingy ( I know..... real tech term lol) behind the top blad holder , later the screw stripped out.... all minor little things tho.
Good luck and enjoy that new saw
