New Excalibur 21
Just in case anyone finds some excess money and they want to get a lovely blue tank (as they refer to it) http://www.scrollsawer.com/articles/...saw-review.php
Oh and if you are in the mood to do it twice - buy me one too
CheersCheers

Not sure but I think the Americans have 120v 60hz as standard but with a 220v 60hz option.

They do have 220v 60hz but not for everyone, I think it is some sort of industrial application but not 3 phase, although of course they do have that too.

If you were going to pay the freight you'd be better off with something like this:

North America is 110-120v 60 Hz standard. However, clothes dryers and electric cooktops (more common than gas) require 220-240v. They do this by running two 110 volt ACTIVE conductors, which kinda like 120v two phase.
We provide 220v by one 220v active and a neutral. In practice they work the same, just different motor speeds with 50Hz/60 Hz.
I still have some North American tools, I run them through a 10Amp transformer which I found locally.
