Pegus Blades
I have just received a delivery of the new PEGUS SUPER SKIP #7 blades from Helen Harris. I have just cut a piece of 25mm Elm that has been laying at the back of a shed for years. I also cut a piece of 18mm River Red Gum that came out of a 100 year old shearing shed in the Riverina. Both these samples are very very hard and dry.
The blades cut through them like they were butter and left a very clean shiny finish. I have also received #5 blades but haven't tried them yet. I am really very impressed with these blades and I am looking forward to cutting a box project from the Elm as soon as I can after Christmas.
