Hegner Multi cut bearing coupler
Dear Woodworkers,
We are in need of some replacement bearing coupler to suit our multi cut scroll saws.
Can anyone suggest where I might be able to get a supply.
Students are really nasty on these and over the years I have had to replace several.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Mik international are not able to help us at this time.

I checked the Mik International sight yesterday and found they have gone belly up. A new company is taking over in a few weeks

OH didn't know another company was taking over.... thought they went belly up a month ago....
Did you try Carrolls? Carba-tec? WMS?
One other thing I can suggest is to try one of the American forums.... there are really helpful folks there.
When I told them Delta isn't sending saws over here anymore and we'll have problems with supplies I received several replies with offers to send things if need be!

Dear keju,
Thank you for the suggestions. (Did you try Carrolls? Carba-tec? WMS?)
Who are Carrolls?
I now have several leads (thanks to everyone) to try now , I will report back when I have some success.

Carrolls is where we buy a lot of our supplies, they are very nice folks to deal with, very helpful too. ( I have to say that... Jim reads these forums! ) Serious tho... they'd be the ones to try to help you if they can. I'm sure if Jim sees this he'll introduce himself.

If they are ball races and can be pressed out I would try someone like SKF to get replacement ones.
